Atlanta Dogwood Festival (April 12-14): One of the most popular spring festivals in Atlanta, this event features live music, arts and crafts vendors, a dog parade, and more. It's held at Piedmont Park, one of Atlanta's largest parks.
Illumine at Oakland Cemetery (April 18th – 28th): This immersive light and sound experience transforms Oakland Cemetery into a glowing wonderland. It's a great way to see the cemetery in a new light and learn about Atlanta's history.
Plant Sale & Expo (April 19-20): The Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County hold their annual plant sale at Jim R Miller Park in Marietta. This is a great opportunity to find beautiful plants for your home and garden.
Sky High Car Show (April 21): This spring car show at the Aviation History & Technology Center in Marietta features vintage cars and aircraft, live music, food and drink, vendors, and more.
Glover Park Concert Series: Guardians of the Jukebox (April 26): This free outdoor concert series in Glover Park, Marietta is a great way to enjoy a spring evening. The Guardians of the Jukebox is a tribute band that plays classic rock hits.
Upriver Music Fest & 5k (April 27): This event combines a 5k race with a music festival. It's a great way to get some exercise and enjoy some live music outdoors. The event takes place at Reformation Park in Canton.
Sweetwater 420 Festival (April 20th – 21st): This music festival celebrates Earth Day and beer with live music, comedy acts, and educational workshops.
Atlanta Film Festival (April 25th – May 5th): This prestigious film festival showcases independent and international films. It's a great opportunity to see some of the best new films before they hit theaters. Poncey-Highland area.
Georgia State Fair (April 26th – May 5th): The Georgia State Fair is a classic springtime tradition, featuring carnival rides, fair food, livestock shows, and live music. It's held at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Taste of Marietta (April 28): This popular annual food festival features food from over 70 restaurants in Cobb County. There's also live music, entertainment, and children's activities.
Marietta Square Art Walk (May 3 – First Friday of each month, March through December): This self-guided walking tour allows you to explore the art galleries, museums, and restaurants around Marietta Square. There's also live music and outdoor art to enjoy.
Shaky Knees Music Festival (May 3rd – 5th): This alternative rock music festival features a lineup of popular and up-and-coming bands. It's held in Central Park.
Decatur Arts Festival (May 3rd – 5th): This art festival features works from over 200 artists, as well as live music, food, and children's activities. It's held in Decatur, a charming town just east of Atlanta.
Atlanta BeltLine Lantern Parade (May 11th): This annual parade features giant, illuminated puppets that make their way along the Atlanta BeltLine, a popular walking and biking trail.
